What is Dental Monitoring?
Dental Monitoring is a revolutionary app that allows us to remotely monitor your clear aligner treatment progress. Instead of driving to our office for appointments, you can simply upload a “smile scan” through the app so we can see how your teeth are adjusting to treatment.
Once we’ve assessed your progress, we will send you our recommendations through the app. If things are going well, we won’t need to see you in person. In fact, we may even recommend that you switch to a new set of aligners early – effectively shortening your treatment time.
How does Dental Monitoring work?
To use Dental Monitoring, you must first sign up for Spark aligners or Invisalign® treatment at our office. We can then sync up our Dental Monitoring software to your custom treatment plan, so we can compare your actual progress against your projected progress.
It’s extremely easy to get started with Dental Monitoring. All you need is a smartphone or iPad. Simply download the app and follow the instructions for sending us weekly smile selfies. You can even send questions to our team through the app at any time.
